OK I've gone and done an Edu Wink

Juventus, Fiorentina and Lazio relegated to Serie B, and as we can't do
points reductions I took £12 million from Juve and £10 million from
Fiorentina, Lazio and AC Milan, and £5 million from each of the fours
transfer budget.

Also sorted out the European qualifiers. In the Champions League we now
have, Inter Milan, Roma, Chievo and Palermo. In the UEFA Cup, Livorno,
Parma and Empoli.

With the reductions to balances, Juve are still in profit but just and with
a greatly reduced transfer kitty, Lazio were in debt to start with and are
totally screwed fiscally now, Fiorentina are slightly in the red, but with
£2 mill Transfers, and Milan are similar to Juve.

I have played through the preseason and will give a summary of what has
happened so far. I'll start with the team I'm controlling, Fiorentina.

I have sold 3 players, Martin Jorgensen to Pompey for £5 mill, Antonio
Aquilanti to Acireale for £18K and my best bit of business, Gianpaolo
Pazzini to Chelsea for £12 mill. So a total of £17 mill profit, as I
haven't signed anyone yet. Though I may be about to spend £3.6 on Javier
Ernesto Chevanton from Monaco, and I'm trying to persuade Chelsea to sell me
Robert Huth.

Juve have been busy selling too. Landry Bonnefoi to Padova for £22K,,
Emerson to FC Bayern for £8.5 mill, Mauro Germán Camoranesi to Liverpool for
£6.5 mill and Jonathan Zebina to Werder Bremen for £3.1 mill. They also
haven't bought anyone nor have any future transfers, so have made £18 mill
profit as the season is about to start.

Lazio have done very little, Simone De Meo to Avelino for £16K. And Roberto
Colautti in for £300K form Maccabi Haifa, though where they got the money
from I don't know.

AC Milan have sold Serginho to Sevilla for £1.5 mill. And brought in,
Rafael Sciani form Padova for £130 (CO), Federico Boccia from Pavia for
£600K (CO), Mirco Graffiedi from Perugia for £275 (CO) and Marcelo Bravo
from Vélez for £1.7 mill. so a £200K loss.

I have played 4 friendlies, and won them all Smile Then cam my first games in
anger the qualifying rounds for the Italian cup.
San Marino 0-2 Viola
Viola 2-1 Cesena
Avellino 1-3 Viola

So not a bad start to competitive games, but there was a down side, I've
been drawn against Juve in the first round proper.

The Promotion odds made for some very odd reading.

Torino 5-4 favourites
rest of the contenders; Bologna @ 6-4, Lazio @ 7-4, Modena @ 2-1, Juve @
2-1, Piacenza @ 10-1. Then the humiliation of Fiorentina @ 100-1 and
bookies saying we're for the drop Sad(

That's all for now, I'm about to play my first Serie B game away at Pescara,
more to follow in a few days Smile
