Personally i never used a walkthrough for any Final fantasy game, FF7 was my best though, owned it to hell, took me like 90 hours first time, 70 hours 2nd time and collected / killed everything, and my fastest run was 26 hours but i didnt do alot except complete it.

I think this game is very well developed, i play alot of games and this is comes near the top and i only played 2 days, its possible at later stages of the game your player can evan become an NPC.
