I'm sure their expectation is that this is being bought by established
users who just wanted the bonus content. Square/Enix certainly behaves as
if the entire world has already tried the game and knows how to play. If I
had to guess, I'd say their marketing people have declared the market
saturated and aren't trying to win any new users because there probably
won't be any. Maybe they're on to something.
