Post subject: Feebas? More like Freebas.
Archived from groups: alt>games>nintendo>pokemon (more info?)

In my quest to get the National Dex without having fought the E4.5, it
became necessary to catch and manually evolve a number of rarer
Pokemon. One of these was Militoc. So I ran around forever, attempted
to find a Feebas, and eventually realized that I'm horridly impatient.
So I ran over to the GTS, and somehow, managed to find a female Feebas
being offered for a Burmy. Naturally, I jumped at this, only to later
find out that the reason it was being GTS'd was because it had already
been unsuccessfully attempted at being evolved.

However, I proceeded to continue and breed roughly 15 more Feebas,
cause you can always use more Feebas. However, a lot of these didn't
like Dry food, so I didn't end up doing anything with them. Until now,
that is. What am I doing with them now? Well, in case the "Freebas"
comment didn't tip you off, I'm giving them all away to my fellow AGNP-
ers. So for a not-so-very limited time only, you can get a Freebas
Feebas from me, and skip the insanely long process of searching
through some stupid lake for the magical fishing spot. As an added
bonus, I've still got a large quantity of Wiki Berries left over, so
I'm giving one of those away as well.

Added note on evolving Feebas:
I used a Wiki Berry and was able to get a full enough yield to evolve
Feebas after two passes of having planted seeds, starting with a
single Wiki Berry. With growth mulch and only watering the plant when
it got dry (around once every hour to two hours) I got a yield of
five berries from each. Feebas can eat up to 11 Poffins made from Wiki
Berries, and if you're any good at making Poffins, you should be able
to average around Level 18 or so on your poffins. You need a total
Beauty of 171 or higher for Feebas to evolve, so if you can get 10
Poffins of at least Level 17 with one of those higher than 17, then
you're set.

So hurry and reserve your Feebas now! Actually, you don't likely
actually need to hurry, since I think the active members on here
number less than 10, and I've got more than 10, but I've only got 6
females left, and I'm keeping one to myself. to make more, if I ever
so desire.

If you've got a spare Phione, I won't reject that. Razz

If you'll be free in about 6.5 hours, I'll be home from work, and will
be able to connect to the WFC. Unfortunately, I cannot currently
connect while at school, due to a proxy.

No problem, I'll get a Phione ready, it'll have water sport, water gun,
surf and ice beam. Hopefully I am going to attatch something a little
special but no promises as I am trying something new.
Let me know when you are ready by posting a message here and I'll keep
an eye out for it, around 9 pm GMT right?

We discussed this over AIM, but for the record ...

Thanks for my Feebas! Now I too have a box full of useless fish who like
sweet things. Picky eaters are the bane of my life. But! I got one
appropriate Feebas, which is now a :L3 Milotic! Hurrah!

Hey, sorry I took so long. I ended up having dinner with my group
after work, so I just got home. I'm gonna go sit in the WFC for the
next 20 minutes or so, if anyone wants to jump in and come get their
Feebas.

I also just realized that half of the AGNPers I didn't have
registered, so I'm actually just *now* logging in to the WFC, so sorry
for any *more* confusions. I'll stay in for another 20 minutes or so,
from now, this time.

And how is your quest for the National 'dex before the E4+ going?
What do you need now? I know Seffan was getting you the Drapion and
Torterra (sp?), and you found out that sometimes normal people post on
the GTS and want normal things. So what is left?

As a matter of fact, I've not gotten around to posting about it, but I
did eventually get my National Dex earlier this week. Yesterday I gave
a run against the E4 - turns out I couldn't have beaten them yet
anyways. To be fair, I was trying to level up my Dratini at the same
time, However, my Rapidash doesn't exactly have any good moves on it,
and my other team member, a Kricketune, I gave up levelling up
somewhere around the mid-30s. I'm considering levelling either my
Castform or Kecleon that I migrated that are both around Lv. 40, just
because they're fun to play with, and already have decently
established movesets.

Congrats! Just for fun I might try this if I ever get a Diamond copy
of my own. It would prolong the 'plot' of the game.
