What is your favorite quest and why? Everyone plays this game differently so
I thought it would be neat to discuss things like what our favorite quest
has been and things like what has happened to our own characters as we go
along in our own games. Everyone has a unique story to tell about their
character. It might also be cool if you could describe your character a
little.

I will post here with my answers in a few days after I see some responses.

I have to say that my favorite quests are the ones my character
decides to do that are outside the game scripted quests. Things like
Red Thorn Rose's search for skulls to let others know her house is the
house of a Big Warrior....or the quest to find all four volumes of the
Argonian Account (well, it would have been IF the books had been in
the game!)...all seem more engrossing than, say, killing lions to save
Therana's (?) rats. But, I think it is more that the characters I get
most involved with take on a life of their own and find their own
quests...rather than the quests being good.

I enjoyed the 'Through A Nightmare, Darkly' quest given by the argonian mage
in Bravil mages guild most of all. Having to undergo the 4 tests was a lot
of fun and also a challenge. The test of patience was the most enjoyable to
do without the help of the scroll from the box. LOVED the idea of problem
solving to get through it. If you havnt done this quest then go straight for
it!!! You wont be disappointed!

Also a bit corny but i love the reaction Earana has when you tell her that
you wont give her the book and wont steal it back. The moment is
priceless!!!! This is part of the Chorrol mage guild quest, should you
choose the right path. This quest is also my favorite as it has 2 different
endings based on your choice, which unfortunately Oblivion lacks quests of
this type quite largely.
