Just started playing Fallout 2 again. Played the first night for hours
without problems. Lately, every once in a while, get an error "Fallout2 has
caused an error in kernel32.dll. The game will now close"

It seems really bad in the Den when travelling from 1 side of the Den to the
other.

Any ideas what could be causing this. I've tried defragging, rebooting,
etc. Still happens occasionally.

Thanks.

It appears that opus007 <opus00777 RemoveThis @adelphia.net> shook an Etch A Sketch

If you run any program like Norton Crashguard, Bomb Shelter, or those kind
of programs that are supposed to help with lockups, try disabling it when
going to play. I've found that some kernel problems are caused by these
"protection" programs.

Have you applied all the patches? I think it got up to 1.02e or something
for the english version.

Without those patches the game is very unstable especially in certain random
encounters and whenever something explodes etc. www.nma-fallout.com have all
the relevant downloads Smile
