Hi!

Assume the "problem" of base avoiders, which try to fight only against
an orbital defense but not against the base, is solved within space
combats.

Then there remains the "problem" that early objects could trigger
combat before the main fleet arrives to part the base from the base
guard fleet.

I understand that too many single vcr's with again and again the same
single object versus the base should be avoided.

How do you think about this solution:

Everything remains the same with one exception: Only the death can
part a base from its base guarding objects.

The means:

If a combat breaks out and the set of possible participants contains
an object, which is set to "Guard base", and a base, whose player is
friendly to the (or is the same) owner of the object, then the base
will be in the battle no matter if there were earlier combats with
this base.

I.e.
As long as there is a ship (can wings guard a base?) guarding the base, the
base will allways be in combat?
