What do you do with old games? - I would expect most of you probably sell back the games to places like EB (if they still do that) or ebay, but it just does not seem worth the money or time (I am at least a half hour drive from any PC game store). I hate to just give them away also..

pc games.. - ...allow your to run wild

games - get on to for free downloads of superb games and play online games Totally free!!!!!

So, here is the games which will be released in 2008 which I think I
would be interested to play (all of them are FPS [with twists]). The
most desirable come first:

Left 4 Dead (release late summer 2008)
'shoot zombies in multiplayer'
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Left_4_Dead

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty (release 9 March 2008)
'2nd WW Germans are in NY with futuristic weapons'
http://au.codemasters.com/turningpoint/

Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason (also known as 'Anabiosis'), (release
April 2008)
'Shoot zombies in the frozen ship'
http://www.firingsquad.com/news/newsarticle.asp?searchid=15165
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiVdUUgaUog

Deep 6 (date of release not known)
'steer submarine and shoot'
http://www.deep6game.com/

Postal 3 (release mid to late 2008)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postal_3
'postal dude goes crazy'

[sorry guys, did not find the 'games of 2008' thread; created a new
one]

This is the one game I am really looking forward to and now Valve have
acquired the team I believe they can help ensure the game is really
polished when it comes out.

Let's hope it is released as part of the Episode Three package!

You forgot to throw the Portal:Ep1 in, too.

Great idea, not Sad! Pack another multiplayer only game onto a short single
player episode mission pack and then demand the full price? Maybe include
another free copy of HL2, EP1 and EP2, so you can buy those once more too?

Werner, do you object to the UT series, Quake III and Arena, BF2,
BF2142, etc etc etc being full price games? And they don't even have a
short but great separate single player game included.

You don't get the previous games of the series free with the above
MP-only games either. This is a bonus.
