I'm disgusted to admit that, despite having had the game for a week
now, I've STILL not got down to any serious gaming yet... *hangs head
in shame*

I have got a game loaded and ready to go though! (All the Asian
leagues loaded, starting unemployed with no rep and seeing who wants
me!) - looks like I'll be starting my FM08 career in the Indonesian
first division ha ha - I like a challenge!

Here's to next week, and 5 days off work heh heh ;o)

can't say i've encountered any form of supergoalie yet, and as for
tactics...well, what do you want to know about them?

i play a modified 433, depending on who's fit/on form and it's done me
pretty well. Bought David bentley and he's scored 18 goals in 33
appearances from the right wing!

Funnily enough, that's almost exactly what my mate and I did in our
ongoing FM2006 save. I started at Persiba Bantul in the lower of the
Indonesian divisions, he started at Persitara at the same level.

It's now 2018 (IIRC), and he's now managing Sunderland and has made
them the best team in Europe, and I'm in my first year at Real Madrid
after Raul made an arse of the previous season (he had a catastrophic
late-season slump and plummetted from top to finish 12th).

Yes indeed. Got to give it a go..
Like 07 it is a step harder I find. The team address situation is a
lottery.
What with this and bugs that SI do not see fit to address (rogue
keepers, lost settings..) is making this once proud series a drag to
play.

> How about the S-goalie and tactics?
Don't know about "super keepers", but I suspect that once you've
chosen your team address the game has decided the score, and no amount
of tinkering can change the way your team plays. Hopelessly
unbalanced.
I'm getting weary of restarting a match because I sense the choice the
game has made in advance.
Gee..all I ask is a "fair go" in a match.
I wonder if FIFA is any better this year.

Cheers nonetheless ;-]
