Criterion is doing Blu-Ray... OK, sure, they don't actually come out
until October... but still...

For those who don't know who/what Criterion is... they're a premier
imprint for movies. Everything you count on in a "Special Edition"?
Criterion invented that. On Laser Disc no less. Their DVD releases
have been stellar so it will be interesting to see what they do with a
High Def format.

* The Third Man
* Bottle Rocket
* Chungking Express
* The Man Who Fell to Earth
* El Norte
* The 400 Blows
* Gimme Shelter
* The Complete Monterey Pop
* Contempt
* Walkabout
* For All Mankind
* The Wages of Fear

Most of these releases don't really float my boat, but hey, you have
to start somewhere. Bottle Rocket should be worthwhile, Third Man and
400 Blows are classics.

DVD title list here:

Finally got my Xbox 360 - I finally got a 360 this week. It took awhile because I already spend thousands of dollars on gaming every year and my only rule is that I won't pay for anything above retail value. I picked up a VGA cable, charge&play kit, along with 10 games. I....

It finally happened. - I bought the XFLop three-hundred and shitty today. I also bought another wireless controller, quick charge kit, battery pack, Gears of War, Viva Piņata, and Project Gotham Racing 3. I'm back in the XFLop fanfairy brigade. :)

I'm finally bored of CoD 4 - That was a good run...I got my money's worth. But now it's reached a point where everyone runs to the same spots to do the same things. The ACOG scope improvement with the patch will give me a little more juice, but not much. New maps may help, but..

5 hours in and fatigue finally sets in - Picked up Oblivion this afternoon, - I was tempted to buy the PC version, but I read plenty of negative comments about how it needs a hack to make the textures look remotely as good as they do on the XBOX 360, and that NVIDIA cards are having texture..

So Bliggy has finally disappeared! YAAAY! - Too much bad news from Sony for even Bliggy to put a spin on it seems. Good riddence.
