Idea's for model - Hi all, I'm painting a Grail Knight and would like some input. First, I don't game and I'm not worried about the model looking uniform as if it were in a unit. Right now, I have the horse landing on it's front feet with the rear legs extended in hopes..

Magnetic paint um..[model] or [paint] - I picked up a can of Krylong magnetic paint, not actually magnetic, but is the kind of paint that pagnets can stick to. I'm thinking of sticking neodynium magnets on my bases, and spraying this stuff on movement trays. Also, I think it'd be good to use it

[model]Rare Earth Magnet - I was wondering if anyone could direct me to a good site for these and recommend a size to use on 28mm sized models. the 40K miniature range. Thanks in advance for any help.

[model] [paint] Hobby Progress? - July was another slow month. I spent a couple days my storage cases, so more minis cased and fewer loose. My main current project is to finish my Assault Marines. From a base of 15 built and painted, I've finished building 6,..

[Model] Favorite Metallic Paints? - So over the last year or so I've been gradually replacing my old paints with Vallejo paints, which I love, but I've been hanging onto and nursing along my old pots of GW metallic because I still like them. But I just can't stand the terrible GW paint.

Hey,

These may not be new, but I haven't seen them before:

http://uk.games-workshop.com/storefront/store.uk?do=Individual&code=99...299023&

The bits look to be suitable for terrain and other projects, too.

And, dare I say it, the price is right.

You get one base sheet in the pack?
Because that would be less than a pound for a piece of plasticard.
Sprue for the edges... is kinda free.

I suppose the set has the advantage that the edges are thinner than sprue.
Cutting the corners to fit can be a little fiddly, particularly if you hack
your sprue in half to get thinner edges.
Six quid still seems rather pricey to me.

you get 2 of the base sheets of the (10x10 20mm on one side 8x8 25mm
on the other) per pack. Quite honestly the players I see liking this
the most will probably be the brettonian players since it makes it
much easier to make the bases for their lances now.
