1. All Micro$lime retains from Bungie is the Gheylo franchise. They
have absolutely no rights for any new or future IP game Bungie may be
working on.
2. M$ only retains a minority share in Bungie, without any decision
making percentage.
3. Bungie has a limited time agreement to have Micro$putum publish in
the future but no agreement they can't have somebody else publish for
them as well, such as Activision, EA, Ubisoft or even SCE.
4. M$ has no say whether Bungie development can only develop for the
xflop 3-shitty. Bungie has all rights to develop for as many platforms
as they want.
5. Beyond Gheylo DLC and two mini-games, Bungie has no legal
commitment to continue with the Gheylo cult in the future.
Comparison of M$ xflop 3-shitty development and Sony Studios PS3
recent developments:
xflop 3-shitty:
a. M$ dissolves FASA, reducing their 1st party developer studios to
Rare, Lionhead and Bungie.
b. Bungie divorces M$, leaving M$ with only two 1st party developer
studios, Rare and Lionhead.
c. Rare founders have left Rare, Rare has nothing in development
except Viva Pinata' expansions.
d. M$ gives every indication they are leaving the console videogame
business, shrinking more and more by the day.
PS3:
a. Sony Studios buys Evolution Studios and Big Big Studios after
buying Guerilla Studios, Zipper Studios, Naughty Dog Studios, Eidetic
Studios, Sucker Punch Productions, added on to their half a dozen
other major development studios with a total 1st party IP list of game
franchises exceeding 200 titles and dozens of new IP titles.
b. SCE introduces 2 new SKU while phasing out the two older SKU,
reducing manufacturing costs while increasing profits and install
base.
c. Sony gives every indication of expanding their console game
business, growing and growing more by the day.
Sony starts out 2008 with huge major system seller first party and
third party exclusive titles and the list of major exclusives gets
longer and longer while the list of xflop 3-shitty third party
exclusives gets shorter and shorter.
Even the hallucinating, deluded brain-washed pea brained xflop
fanbitch zombie army will see the writing on the wall by next summer
and begin committing mass suicides in their bitter anguish. >> Stay informed about: THE FACTS ABOUT BUNGIE DIVORCING MICRO$NOT |

Microsoft has first right to decline to publish any future game Bungie
makes. Only after Microsoft declines can Bungie shop their game around
to other publishers. This was in every article that reported the news.
> 2. M$ only retains a minority share in Bungie, without any decision

Correct. Bungie can decide on any game concept they want without
having to ask Microsoft for permission.
> 3. Bungie has a limited time agreement to have Micro$putum publish in

Correct in that their agreement with Microsoft is for a limited time.
Incorrect that they can have somebody else publish their game before
Microsoft has declined to do so.

They can develop for other consoles if Microsoft chooses not to
publish their game.

Correct. However, Bungie has already stated that Halo 3 is not the
last full-blown Halo game they create.

Good move on their part. FASA sucked.
> b. Bungie divorces M$, leaving M$ with only two 1st party developer

Questionable move to allow Bungie to leave... but more to allow things
to get to a point where Bungie WANTS to leave.
> c. Rare founders have left Rare, Rare has nothing in development

Rare founders did jack sh1t for the games. They were just paper
pushers. Rare hasn't had the Goldeneye team since the beginning of
Perfect Dark development (not Zero, the original 64 title) so that's
no big deal. Some of the team members who did Banjo Kazooie are still
there and will be able to contribute to an awesome platforming
experience, which is something Microsoft needs for their console right
now.

Interesting... what indications? I've seen absolutely none thus far.

200 titles and dozens of new IPs that aren't being developed for the
PS3 right now.
> b. SCE introduces 2 new SKU while phasing out the two older SKU,

This is just an indication of how badly the PS3 is doing. They've had
to drop the price by $100 TWICE within months. NOT an indication of
things going well although this could be a turning point for the
system. COULD.
> c. Sony gives every indication of expanding their console game

By failing at it? Nice try.

Which titles? Note that these system sellers will miss the all-
important holiday season when people spend the most money. By the time
January, February and March roll around, people WON'T be spending
money on games, having spent an average of $1,000 per person during
the holiday season on gifts for OTHER people... except in the case of
a mega franchise like Grand Theft Auto IV, which will arrive on BOTH
consoles in March.

I'm kind of surprised you haven't already done so, seeing as how not a
single one of your predictions about the PS3 has come true and the
system is miserably flailing. Hopefully, the next few months will give
you SOMETHING to live for. >> Stay informed about: THE FACTS ABOUT BUNGIE DIVORCING MICRO$NOT |

If bliggy is nothing but hot air, wouldn't beano basically kill him? Now,
would he just slowly deflate in place like a bad souffle, go flying around
the room like a baloon with a bad leak, or just simply explode (bang!)?

That's the only thing WORTH keeping. It's not like Bungie has
developed anything else in almost a decade now. Marathon was good in
its day, but is hardly a household name outside of hardcore Apple
gamer circles. And when's the last time anyone saw a hardcore Apple
gamer?

Like I said, it's not like Bungie has developed anything else in
almost a decade now. When is the last Myth game they did? How many
people even remember the franchise?
