Hi, I am looking for an Extended Ignore Addon for WoW (ever since we got
global LFG ).
But I have looked at ui.worldofwar.net and none of the ignore addons I
could find have been updated since last patch. So does anybody know such
addon that will work with the new patch?
If it has extra features I am also interested, I would for example like a
little note at each ignored person with reason if that is possible.

spam guard plus is at curse-gaming BUT the thing I found I didn't like was
it copied your friends list. I have all my alts on my main and my main and
alts on other mains. When it does this is removes your main then you end up
with 10 friends online that you don't care about on your alt.
so spam guard plus = good if you remember to turn it off when changing guys
however I never fully checked how far the ignore list would go permanently
in ti. otherwise its a measly 25.

Problem: i use CTA... if u leave the L4G, CTA cannot "read" the LF*
post and doesn't work

I've got Improved Ignore; it gives you more ignore slots, plus it prevents
you from accidentally whispering someone in your ignore list (this hasn't
been a problem for me yet, but ya never know).
I haven't gotten around to updating any of my addons yet, so I don't know
if there's an update for this one out. Still works, though.

Big deal? Yes. The OT chatter and spam is there when you need the
channel, as well.
A proper LFG message can be scrolled out of view by spam before you see
it. >> Stay informed about: Extended Ignore Addon? |

Don't leave the group, simply set your chat box so that messages from it
don't show. In the background of the UI the channel is still babbling
away, but only CTA is seeing it. This is also how coordination mods like
KTMThreatMeter and CTRaidAssist work. *

Oddly enough, you can join the LFG channel and have it selected in no
windows at all, and CTA will still work. *

Ah, didn't know that.
On the other hand, I've seen that not all people looking for a group use
LFM or LFG and it helps to have it in its own tab and go check it from
time to time. On one of my servers, it's pure trash. On the other server,
the signal to noise ratio is better.
