When flying and you must leave fs , do you just exit the program or do you
feel the need to land the aircraft you're flying?

Me? I declare an emergency and land at the first airport I can find.

I feel compelled to land. In my case, since I use real-time weather I
like the realism of having the weather match the time of day, so saving
a game isn't in line with that practice unless I start it up 24 hours later.

Well, that's me as well. In a real airplane I don't have the choice. In the
sim I do and so I take the easy way out. When ya gotta go, ya gotta go.

Hey - great find! A few years ago I even purchased 3 WAC sectionals for the
lower half of AK and this ties in nicely, plus shows a bunch not on my
charts. Damn, regular VFR local sectionals you'd need a couple dozen to
cover that place!!

With real world weather and a "emergency" diversion do be done in a hurry
(always bad!), things may become quite challenging. Me, I just look at the
wife's face first to see how much in a hurry she is to read the time
available...Smile

That's an awesome site there Mike. Wish that was a requirement for
everywhere. Only thing I noticed was that all the info is 9 years old.
I wonder when they might update it.
