Did anyone try updating their mods with the WowAceUpdater? I *think* I
did it, but now I'm getting a bunch of errors when the game starts, and
I have a new minimap icon called Rock Configuration which I've never
seen before. It's also listed in the error messages, so I assume
something went wrong with the update process.

Is it possible to do a clean install of the updates but still keep all
the information from Cartographer, etc?

ckknight, the author of Cartographer, Pitbull, CowTip, Parrot, FuBar,
and I'm sure many others, has ported his addons from Ace2 to his own
framework/system/whatever you call it, Rock. So now when you blindly
update these addons, you're going to get Rock with it. Not that
that's bad, it's just a head-scratcher for you if you hadn't heard of
the change. The Rock Config takes a little while to get used to, but
it's not BAD, it's just different.

Should be able to as long as you don't delete your various
cartographer .lua files in your SavedVariables folder.

Change the Option in Preferences to 'Skip version check' and also 'Delete
before updating'.
This will replace all the addons that you can get through it.

I updated Cartographer today (several times when a new version showed up at
various points today) and still get errors in-game. It seems to work okay,
though.

I also noticed the Rock Configuration icon and it looks like that allows
you to access the UI options all at one place. I just removed the mini-map
icon.
