I've been playing WoW for a fair old while now, but i'm ashamed to say
that i've note really paid much attention to enchanting, mainly due to
having a million alts and no L70.

I see people talking about Mongoose and Fiery etc... but I don't really
know what they do and what is best for each class? My tow mains at the
moment at a warlock and a warrior, what enchants would be best for these
guys for PvP, and should I bother before hitting L70?

What are all the different enchants available?

T.

Unless you are the enchanter, don't worry about enchants until 70 and
have gear you feel you're pretty well set with. Enchanting leveling
gear is a waste because it gets replaced. Wait till you have some
gear at 70 you feel is going to be around for a really long time.

Check Wowwiki or even Wowhead for lists of available enchants. For
PvP, try some stamina and resilience enchants,

There are some nice 'lowbie' enchants for professions: fishing,
herbalism, mining, skinning for gloves, and a modest speed boost (%3)
to boots.

The main problem with these is that if you don't have a rich aunt, it
can be expensive to get an Enchanter to the level required (145-225)
to make these items; and while the boosts are somewhat minor, some
will be as good for a lvl 20 as they will for a lvl 70. As another
poster pointed out, much of the gear enchants you do will be discarded
as you level up but these will stick. Smile

Agreed. I'm no expert by a long shot, but depending on your end-game
plans, I probably wouldn't put a lot of time/money/farming into getting the
absolute best enchantments on anything short of very high end purples.

I'm just getting a solid start on gearing up. I've got the best quested
stuff I could find, with a few quest chains left to complete. I've picked
up a couple of rep rewards, and I've gotten a few Kara drops. In general,
I've put decent enchants on most stuff, but I've put more work into getting
mats for better enchants on the Kara drops - they're less likely to be
replaced next time I'm in Kara and beyond.
