Been using trn from the command line since the late 80's.
Don't plan to change anytime soon.

I'm pretty sure that's about the easiest you can have it, with three
kids.

I see less cycling of posters than there used to be. Usenet
seems to have pretty much settled down to a core group of
people who have been reading and posting for years. I
sometimes go away from these newsgroups for years at a time,
come back and find the same people here...
I'm not saying nobody new ever comes along, but the number
seems to be vanishingly small compared to the old days.
Remember the annual September flood from psuvm?

That does guarantee an eventual end. By 2060, almost all of you will be
dead. >> Stay informed about: EXTREME D&D |

The next 50 years of medical advances gives us a pretty decent shot at
beating that number.

I'll see your Netscape and raise you (lower you?) to version 4.74 that I
still use for e-mail and newsgroups.

Rubbish. That only puts me at 85, and I'm far from the youngest here.
Life expectancy's already over 80, and from my age I'm better than half a
chance of seeing 2060 and DnD 3rd edition (they won't be using real
edition numbers in the future either). All assuming a lack of
catastrophy, knock wood, watch diet.
2080, OTOH, not so much. Death is an evolutionary imperative.

91 for me. I'm not that healthy, so I doubt I'll make it that far.
I'll probably be lucky to make it to 70.
> 2080, OTOH, not so much. Death is an evolutionary imperative.
They should have life expectancy up to 100 by then though, you could
still be around.
