The safety of the city was safeguarded this weekend by the efforts of a
party of Durholme adventurers commissioned by Seneschal Ewart Gladrock.
The farms between Durholme and the Wall, recently awarded to exiled
Pictish farmers to work, have been much afflicted by the ravages of
bandits in that remote area.
Commissioned by Gladrock, however, a small group, including Sir Jasper
Dashwood of theFellowship of Gentlemen adventurers, set out to deal with
this problem, and we are pleased to say that their efforts were
successful, and the Pictish farmers are reported to be pleased to be
finally delivered from their travails.
