Hi all,

I have recently replaced the aging Jamma loom and PC innards on my mame
cabinet but cannot get the screen to display properly.

The picture is squashed to half size and displayed twice above and below the
centre. To ensure the PC wasn't the problem I have also tested it with
various Jamma boards.

Adjusting the resistors on the monitor control board does not solve
anything.

Rather than resoldering the entire loom does anyone know the 'technical'
name for this problem and which joints, if any, could be causing it ?.

Regards

Jon

After various searches of the web I know that this can be caused within Mame
but just to emphasise - the problem also exists when a Jamma board is
connected.

Any help appreciated.
