As far as I can see, I do not have a PDF version of GURPS Dune on my
hard drive, but then again it didn't impress me much, so that does not
surprise me.
But I seem to recall that there was a HTML version, originally, of GURPS
Dune, on the "erinyes" website. If that is the case, it may be possible
to use the http://www.archive.org website to "travel back in time" to
find the HTML page. I remember it as long very long page, detailing all
phenomena described in the first novel, and also some in Messiah and
Children (I never read any further novels).
Are you able to use www.archive.org, the so-called "Wayback Machine", or
do you need someone to help you with it?
(I can't guarantee that it will work, but I was able, a couple of years
ago, to find an ancient freeware cyberpunk RPG, which I remembered
having read in 1997 or early 1998, back when the Internet was new for me.)

I'll give it a try. What fan created things do you think are the best ones
out there? >> Stay informed about: GURPS Dune? |

I haven't yet seen any fan-created Dune material that impresses me.
I do, however, have a list of Dune-inspired feats on my hard drive, for
the Spycraft 2.0 RPG. Ones I got off the net somewhere. But if that's
what you're after, I should probably just give you what search terms the
document contains, and then you shoud be able to use www.google.com to
find newer and better versions of the same documents. Perhaps someone's
total conversion of Spycraft 2.0 into a Dune RPG. I think Spycraft 2.0
could be tweaked to do Dune...
Anyway, it turns out you may not have to mess around with
www.archive.org at all, because I actually found an MS Word version of
the GURPS Dune document, taken from the Erinyes site many years ago.
How would you like me to email it to you? Raw MS Word, zipped MS Word,
converted to Open Office or converted to PDF?
I haven't checked but it is probably an ancient version of MS Word, Word
95 or 97 or something like that. Converting to Open Office will destroy
any really fancy formatting, but I don't recall that the GURPS Dune
document contains any. Converting to PDF is fairly safe.

MS Word is fine.
Actually, I wasn't talking about other Dune products, but instead other
GURPS fan created sourcebooks. I have GURPS Doom: The Plagiarism, which I
did a lot of formatting on when I could see back in the past, even creating
a graphic of a plasma cannon for it that was designed to look similar to the
other things in the game. I found a Stargate fan created sourcebook too, but
since it was created many seasons ago it's hopefully been updated since
then. I'm curious as to what other fan created books are floating around out
there, and which ones people think are decent. >> Stay informed about: GURPS Dune? |

Ah... In that case, let's change the Subject line to something more
accurate. <g>
There's a decent Third Edition writeup of the manga "3x3 Eyes" at
http://3x3eyes.sioc.org/index.en.php

Not really. I've never put my compiled Doom: The Plagiarism up anywhere. (It
also seriously needs a decent cover) I found the rest of this on the SJ
Games archive site a while back.
I located a site, (don't remember the URL) that had a bunch of links, but
most of them were broken, so I don't know if it's of much use. If I could
find a good place to upload some of them, I might do that.
The Stargate one is in dire need of updating. I wonder if anyone ever did
that, or if it's still stuck in the third or fourth season. >> Stay informed about: GURPS Dune? |

There's a fairly decent Ghostbusters worldbook on alt.binaries.e-book.rpg right
now. Seems to have some sections from GURPS Horror and Fantasy in it according
to the disclaimer on the back cover.
