Well, I introduce a kid at church to the Atari Jaguar (my choice for a fifth
gen game system), and he in turn tells me about his love, the Dreamcast (my
choice now for a sixth gen system).
I got him another Dreamcast (now mine) and he played it for a while, then I
borrowed it, and liked it. So I got ahold of a parts Dreamcast and fixed his
original Dreamcast, and got him back on his way...
... and kept the other one for myself.
Fun system! I can see what the hubbub about the Dreamcast is all about. I
currently have a wide selection of games to try, and many more to collect. I've
also been tinkering with Super NES emulation on the Dreamcast and poking into
what I hope is a older version of Dreamcast Linux. I have the keyboard but not
the mouse.
So that is my basic introduction. Good to see the Dreamcast newsgroup wasn't
completely spam.
