I just got this through from Durham Student Theatre. Looks like it might
be interesting to LARPers interested in improving their roleplay.
Roleplay isn't the same as acting, but projecting a consistent and
interesting character is a big part of it, and the immersion part of it
sounds like it might be useful.

FREE FREE FREE Workshop 4-6 Sunday 20th June FREE FREE FREE FREE
Two postgraduate students are putting on this exciting and extremely original
acting workshop which will explore what it is to become another person and see
the world through their eyes. The unconvential techniques used are a superb
way to learn how to overcome the perennial actor's obstacle: how to make your
actions and words on stage appear fresh and impulsive.
The innovative workshop, of a style never before seen in Durham, is more than
just an acting class. The organisers hope that participants will leave
exhilarated and feeling that they have joined in a truly unique theatre event.
The workshop is not only recommended to actors but also to directors,
producers and crew who would like an insight into the experience of
performance.
