Hello "the board", Ned here of the Taitovox kids (formally stratovox
kids, formally taito kids) with an all points bulletin: I could use a
Dr Mario. The girlfriend said something to the extent of I can't have
any other games until she gets her Dr Mario. No that I really have the
space, but it seems as if she's finally gotten excited about having a
game of her own.
Hans and Chris have told me that the key is just finding the game that
the woman wants, then she'll be less... hm... spiteful towards the
hobby?
And it turns out that she wants a Dr Mario. Thus, I need one badly.
I'd rather not have the playchoice version but will of course love to
hear of anything anyone has.
There's a pcb and marquee on ebay at the moment, but then I'd need a DK
cab and setup to drop it all in.
I guess if anyone nearby has one of those for cheap, that would be cool
too. The last thing she wants, though, is me sitting on a pcb for a
couple months trying to piece something together.
Oh yeah, I have a few things I would be willing to trade/partially
trade for the Dr Mario. There's the Elevator Action dedicated and
Track and Field dedicated (not quite done with it yet). Let me know.
