Only the fact that games are not produced in such mass quantities so that
over time, they reduce in price.

Virtually all Nintendo GameCube games maintain most of their value. They do
not make good consoles for anyone that purchases games a year after they are
released in the hope to get them cheap.

True. Kind of defeats the purpose of selling the console cheaper than
the competition.
