I've always thought the SNES version was a little too tight, like it
was almost hard to get the characters moving. Of course, I seem to have
that issue with a lot of SNES games so I guess it could just be the
pad. It'd go with the theory that games feel looser on the Genesis due
to the looser pad...but I think that's just kind of nutty thinking on
my part.

I can dig it. I've often times noticed that the order in which I play
something has a lot to do with how I see other versions of the game.
For a lot of arcade ports that I first played on the Genesis, and then
played in the arcade or via MAME, even though they are graphically
superior, and the audio is often times better, they don't seem to
compare to the Genesis versions to me.
