OK I know this game is ancient now buy I'm playing it using project 64
which is an N64 emulator.

I used to play this years ago on the N64 but it was so hard that i
never got to see the last 2 worlds ( Sherbert Island and Space World I
think ) so I thought I'd try and do it again as I'm sure I'm a better
player now but I am stuck again on the same bits I was stuck on back
then !!!!

I downloaded a save game with all tracks open but I don't know how to
load it in to the emulator game. Does anyone know how to do this ? I
tried putting it into the emulators save games file but it does'nt show

up in the game.

Or can someone tell me how to beat or cheat past the first 3 bosses the

second time you have to race them on the re match they ask you to do ?
It is impossibly hard !!!!

I've completed all races, all silver coin challenges, all 3 bosses
first match and 2 key challenges. It's just 1 key challenge and 3 boss
re matches that I am stuck on.

Can anyone tell me a way to open the rest of the game up cheating or
otherwise ?

Will I ever get to see the rest of this game ?

Thanks.

Reggie700,

If the file you downloaded is a *.pj.zip file (the only save file that
project64 lets you import/export), it is a save state, not a saved
game. What you need to do is Put that file (as a *.pj.zip, don't
decompress it) in C:\Program Files\Project64\Save\ (or whatever is
your install directory \Save) Then open the game in project64 and
press F7. (in project64, F5 saves a game into a save state, and F7
loads a save state, and they are stored in Project64\Save. Hope I
solved your problem!

Snip

For the first boss (triceratops thing) use Pipsy for speed and agility.
Start the race slowly - he'll only trample you if you "blue smoke" on
the start.
collect the 1st 2 orange balloons and fire a homing rocket as soon as
you can.
>From this point learn the position and type of balloons.
Only bother with red ones if you can get 2 to make it "homing"
Pick up blue balloons towards the end and try to overtake in the very
final stretch.
The boss pauses slightly at the very top, so don't worry about being
slightly behind as you reach the line - being trampled or falling off
the side is the main problem.
There is a hidden short-cut half way up the hill, but it's almost
harder to use it, but can be used if you have 2 blue balloons to power
you up the steep short-cut.

Too much to type here, but use Timber for the second boss (walrus), and
Diddy for the 3rd boss (dragon). Again, it's all about learning the
position of the balloons and figuring out which to collect (it can
change from lap to lap) and when to use them. Totally forget about
trying to make a flying start on each race.

You can use the flying start, it's definitely worth trying for.
Each character of course, varies on the timing for it.
You need all the advantage you can get for this very tough game.

I have problems opening up the last two worlds too.
They sure playtested this game thoroughly - as you do seem to get
that little bit better with retrying and retrying.
And yeah the bosses sure look hard, but usually you'll do a bit
better each time with each new try.

Yeah the save states are a definite plus, when playing by emulation.
You can do more than one, so that when you get a flying start, you
can save the state, and also when you near the end, and just miss
out... so it all definitely helps..
