I want to pass on my copy of "Harvest Moon" to my nephew but how can I
delete my saved games?

Often it's a case of holding certain buttons down while turning on the
game, but I don't know specifically in the case of harvest moon.

You could also try turning the GBA off when the game is saving. That might
corrupt the save, and create a new game next time.
