This created a minor sensation a few months ago (Aug/ Sep?).
GWUS actually said, "Get 'em while you can", or some such.
It seemed like a rather desperate plea, back then. [Sigh]
It's not so funny since the Chaos Codex came out.

Most will be back under new part numbers once they reorganize. They've
done this many times before, just without so much "buy it now!"

But, 'retired' doesn't mean 'removed'.
When GWUK "retires" a mould, it's because they can't sell all the
figs.
When GWUS removes SKUs, it's because they *won't* sell all the figs.
It's apparent the thing being 'retired' here is more US Customer
Service.
Bravo, GWUS.

The 2008 Citadel Catalogue is an indispensable full-colour showcase of
the most finely sculpted miniatures in the world. Every model in this
massive tome has been painted by the renowned 'Eavy Metal team. Inside
the catalogue you'll find details of
--> the full range of models <--
for Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000 and The Lord of the Rings, as well as
all of Games Workshop's rulebooks, army books, codices, terrain and
hobby supplies.
* Price: £8.00
* Release: 29/1/2008
+++
So, it's only the US Catalog that's being diminished?
Or has Corporate redefined the term "full"?

Full range usually means the full range of currently available models,
i.e. on the peg in stores. The 05 or 06 big bitz book had the "full
range", and a seperate bitz book had specialist, classic, and
collectors minis. >> Stay informed about: Decreased Catalogue |
