Don't pick on Nightwalker. Those are fighting words if you do. She has
helped me and others on countless occasions.
Nightwalker, there are plenty of people on your side, so don't let one
bad apple discourage you.

She has assisted me also. Wasn't trying to appear rude. Just that several
times in her walkthrus and answers they are kinda vague. If someone asks how
to open a door she will reply search the room for a hidden switch instead of
saying search behind the bed for a hidden switch. After all the switch could
be on the ceiling.

Since the main joy of Thief, for most of us, is exploring and discovering
things for ourselves, I will try to nudge someone in the right direction
first unless asked for a total spoiler. If that's not enough, then I'll give
more detail. The walkthroughs are generally pretty specific as to location
of keys, switches and important items.

Your post made it sound like you thought I was just pretending to know where
things are which was rather disturbing since I try to make very sure that my
answers are correct, even if I have to replay part or even all of a mission
to check my facts.

What exactly did I do to deserve that sort of sarcasm?? I go out of my way
to answer every question I can for people who are stuck on something and
have done for years.

Reborn Rolla,
I think that is where the confusion is. There are asking for clues and
there are flat out spoilers. A clue would be which room or which area. A
spoiler would be northwest corner, behind 2nd bush on the left, etc.

Thanks buddy. I realize that now. There seems to be a fad among fan
mission makers to start missions with no weapons. You have to search for
your blackjack and sword etc. This is like the fad of having to read 46
scrolls that are multi-pages.
