Dangerous Curves car question

I know this is a really old game but I'm playing DC for the first time
and am stuck trying to search the Jag.

I found the Jag easy enough but can't get to it. I searched for hints
and found that I need to hide in my car but I can't. I get in my car
and try to hide. It says there's not enough room. No way to hide in the
back seat or trunk either or duck down or anything else I can think of.
I've tried plain old "hide", "hide in car", "hide in the car". Nothing
works.

Please let me know if it's a bug or if there is indeed a way to hide in

the car that I haven't tried.
