i, i0ve download the last version of doomrl for my Gnu/linux ubuntu. but
i can't load it!! i double click in the file doomrl and nothing appear.
i load it from console but the result is the same...why???

Another post (in rec.games.roguelike.development) makes it look like the
implementation for sound is hypersensitive to the SDL configuration on Linux.

Assuming that the SDL runtime is installed, I'd try running DoomRL from the
command line without sound.
