Hi all,

Has anyone else out there have Ikaruga for both Dreamcast AND Gamecube ?

Does anyone else see something strange with the Gamecube version ? It
just seems to update not as well as the Dreamcast version, as though the
DC version is updating much smoother than the GC ?

I ask the question as I am deciding whether to purchase the GC versions
of some DC games, & am hoping not to run into the same issues....

I don't whether it's just me or not, but I swear there are differences
between them...

Thanks,
Brad.

Yes, but I haven't played the GC one much.

Perhaps you should ask about those games by name...

Well, if you don't want to keep the Gamecube version of Ikaruga-- keep
it anyway. It's become a hard to find item nowadays.

It has ???

Quite a few copies come up on the Aussie Ebay site here. Not that much
money either (well compared to what I payed for it a while ago). I
thought it may have been a bit rare too so that's why I snapped it up
but when I played it, the first thing that popped into my mind was "Geez
that isn't as smooth as the DC version". The DC version really blew me
away with all the action of the screen & the smoothness of the screen
update. When you play the GC version it appears as though they've done a
conversion but haven't optimised it for the GC.......

Thanks for all the replies so far !!! I just want to know I'm not going
crazy about this !!!

It's 'cos you're playing the PAL 50hz version, US GC 60hz version is
identical.
