What is the current state of Myst - or should I say Uru Online.

I understand there is a brand new age on line, but the whole thing is Beta.
When I did try to sign up, I was not accepted because I was in the UK and
they were not having members from outside US (I don't know if this is still
the case).

Are there anyone here actually playing it? Is it any good? How does it
compare with Uru Prime and the expansions (Both in gameplay and
technically - as in playing online)?
Is it still beta - and when will it become full production? (Do I want to
pay subscriptions for a "test" version)

Any chance of the levels being made standalone as expansions to the original
game?

Thanx,

Grey.

Myst Online: Uru Live officially launches on February 15. It is my
understanding that it will be available in the UK at that time.

I think the game's awesome. So far it has the same content as Uru
Prime and To D'ni (with plans to include the TPotS expansion soon).
But new features, new Relto pages, and new story are also being
released. And it's great being able to play through these Ages with
friends.

There are currently no plans to make the Ages available in standalone
expansions. The goal of Uru Live is to create living, breathing
worlds that constantly change. This is best achieved via a
subscription service with frequent update downloads.
