I kind of agree with both of you.
Fun is the main thing, but I too dislike the braggers who race/cheat
their way through a game to seem like they're super leet expert gamers.
I've never understood the attraction of speed runs.
What's the point of racing through a game and really seeing almost
nothing of the level/critter design and such?
Even on the easiest or hardest difficulties I'm not that way since I
seriously dislike run&gun and prefer a slow steady methodical pace (go
figure that my two favorite weapons are a silenced pistol and a sniper
rifle.)
