I'm playing a kobold reaver, and the RNG is in the most benevolent
mood I've ever seen. Check these out:

Armour
f - the +2 pair of gloves of Hairiness (worn)
(You found them on level 7 of the Elven Halls)
It affects your evasion (+3).

v - a +4 robe of resistance
(You took it off a naga on level 5 of the Snake Pit)

And there were two *other* robes of resistance of lesser enchantments
in the Snake Pit.

B - the +2 cloak of Hairiness (worn)
(You bought it in a shop on level 5 of the Lair)
It affects your dexterity (+1).
It protects you from poison.
It lets you sense your surroundings.

2 x Hairiness, 2 x Indemnity. Smile

C - the +2 helmet of Harmony
(You found it on level 2 of the Lair)
It affects your accuracy (+4).
It protects you from cold.
It insulates you from electricity.
It protects you from poison.

I got horns soon after. Sad

H - the +0 animal skin of the Saviour
(You found it on level 2 of the Snake Pit)
It affects your evasion (+4).
It protects you from cold.
It partially protects you from negative energy.

J - the +0 robe of Indemnity (worn)
(You bought it in a shop on level 12 of the Dungeon)
It affects your evasion (+3).
It affects your accuracy (+2).
It insulates you from electricity.
It partially protects you from negative energy.
It lets you blink.
It lets you teleport.
It lets you sense your surroundings.

Y - the +3 pair of boots "Xobixiprokebud" (worn)
(You found them on level 7 of the Dungeon)
It affects your dexterity (-1).

Z - the +0 robe of Grot
(You found it on level 7 of the Elven Halls)
It affects your evasion (+3).
It affects your strength (+2).
It affects your intelligence (+2).
It affects your dexterity (+3).

Do you see a certain excess of superlative robes here? Smile

Jewellery
h - a +6 ring of evasion
(You found it on level 7 of the Elven Halls)

Ha, I thought I'd never take this off my finger ever, and the next
thing I find is:

D - the ring "Evet Rov" (left hand)
(You found it on level 7 of the Elven Halls)
[ring of ice]
It affects your strength (+3).
It affects your accuracy (-1).
It insulates you from electricity.
It protects you from poison.

My primary element is Ice. Smile

O - the ring of Indemnity (right hand)
(You found it on level 8 of the Dungeon)
This ring allows its wearer to see those things hidden from view by magic.
It affects your AC (+4).
It affects your dexterity (-2).
It protects you from cold.
It protects you from magic.

The unseen horrors are still wondering what hit them.

R - the amulet of Untold Secrets (around neck)
(You acquired it on level 2 of the Elven Halls)
[gourmand]
It greatly protects you from fire.

I'm not arguing with the double fire resistance, either. Smile

[some really amazing stuff]

I'd say he's just exploring new, exciting methods of cruelty. Have a
look at the file I've just send to you for bug hunting. I was going for
a voluntary condact GEAE (ULTRA, atheist, unarmed only). This guy found
very early boots of running (+2 initially) and a randart robe with
slaying bonus. But then, soon after saving this file for you, he was
killed by an UH who followed him upstairs. *That* was bitter. Sometimes
the simple things like a /oCold are so much better for surviving...

Looks like the RNG is going to stretch his fun in your case! Wink

On the subject of RNG Smile

The Mummy I'm currently playing (lvl 19 atm; ToD based design,
currently can cast ToD reliably with Staff of Conjuration, using mostly
earth magic to kill stuff) has seen so far:
- 4 (!!) robes of resistance -- not that I'm using any of that.
- wand of healing (!! double wow for mummy since I can't use potions)
(You found it on level 5 of the Lair)
- 3 (!!) wands of teleportation
- ring of regeneration -- also early find; sometimes it's great for
mummies since they don't need food and necromancy regeneration spell
doesn't work.

And on the same subject another my mummy found on first 3-4 levels of
the dungeon (before dying): ring of sustenance and amulet of gourmand
[both identified in a death-dump]. I sure found that amusing... My
"live" characters would've killed for that Smile
