Crashing Problem

Thanks for your suggestion.
Before your reply came in, I used an invisibility potion to sneak past the
Will o Whisp and after that the rest of the game behaved normally. There
must be something about that particular spot.

I had the same problem with Morrowind where if I tried to enter a cave
it crashed, but avoiding it worked OK. There may still be something
wrong with your save game which is why I suggested creating a new one.

I don't think that YOU have developed the problem, lol.

Try downloading the latest patch here: http://static.bethsoft.com/Oblivion_v1.1FinalEnglish.exe

See if that fixes it. It's usually best to keep up-to-date to prevent anything like that from happening again.
