Costume design question - I have a character I designed well over a year ago on which I selected the chitin chest and leg design and a different color for the armor and skin that showed through from It still appears that way today. Now, I can't get the chitin..

One more thing to note on the latest patch... a 5th costum.. - I've got a level 50 character and noticed he has one more costume slot for a total of 5. Something that wasn't noted in the Patch notes. Now if there wasn't such massively horrible lag at the moment.

What server does veryone play on? - I'm Liberty here, my main hero is Gacrux lvl 50 Eng/Eng Blaster, and my main villain is Stigma X lvl 39(for about an hour) Eng/Eng Brute

Is it just me or is the randomizer kinda messed up?

Not that I'm complaining since it seems to be messed up in my favor -
burned wings at level 12, insect at 16 on the new controller.

I hear people complain about not getting any, but every one of my
characters lately has gotten at least one.

I don't know about "messed up," but costume drops now have their own
distinct "pool," separate from other recipes. In addition, costume
recipes can only drop from minions now. So if you're fighting lots of
bosses and LTs (such as a higher-level character with the difficulty
ratcheted up) you're LESS likely to get costume piece drops.

I know about the minion thing.
None of my currently played characters have the difficulty over the
medium setting - too difficult in an annoying way in this post ED
soloers world - especially for squishies without a self-heal.

I did a Positron TF today and got Bat Wings on it, then a Synapse and
got Draconic Wings on it.

Nah. I only play on Victory and I've had 4 costume drops total since I9.
(3 of them since I10 made the drops a little more frequent.)

Only one costume drop for me. Caliente Sam got the jump boots. Gave
them to an alt that was a cyborg-themed character named Bolo Lenny
(fan's of Keith Laumer may get the reference) Who is a Blaster that
looks like a tanker who looks like the offspring of a WWF wrestler and
a cargo payloader... Gave him an interesting backstory and I roleplay
him as a cyborg that still refers to himself in the third person and
does not quite understand human lifeforms (especially their
preferences to go into combat wearing almost nothing).

A mysterious alien race discovered the wrecked glowing battle tank out
in the desert, with the remains of an old soldier astride it. Using
parts from the tank and the organic remains, they rebuilt Unit LNE of
the Dinochrome brigade into an entity called Bolo Lenny. They then
placed Lenny in Paragon city to help fight the other alien invaders
there and hopefully as a catspaw to keep Nictus and Rikti from moving
on to other alien worlds, including their own.

I just got my first costume drop during the LGTF.

On my villain.

Insect Wings.

Can't use them with my concept (Tech Brute SS/Invul)

Can't give them to my hero which could use them.

Haven't gotten a costume drop on any of my heroes.

Insect wings seem to have come down a hell of a long way.

I bought my first pair at 1,000,000 and was amazed I got them at that
price since they were listing at about 2.5 million at the time.
[I put in a bid and sometime while I was offline I snagged it.]

The insect wings I sold the other day brought in 100k, and the previous
history was all 100-350k

A hundred thou wasn't bad since it's a new character, but nothing to
make one rich.

A far far cry from Scarlet Scimitar's 21 million selling Fairy wings.
