blizzard introduced a cost decay over time factor (last patch i think) so if
you spent 35g on your last respec and haven't changed it in a long, long
time you won't necessarily get charged 40g for the next one. the patch notes
read...
- The cost to unlearn talents will now decay over time. This cost will be
reduced by a rate of 5 gold per month to a minimum of 10 gold. |

Is it common (for those rich folks out there) to respec for different
instances? ie - maybe ZG requires something completely different than

The last time I respecced was to get improved blizzard for Nefarian, I did
once spend 50g to move one talent point though. As soon as I get what I need
from Nef and the vast majority of the guild have too then I'll maybe try a
fire spec again but I'm happy with the spec I have now for where we're at.

No, but I do know of some folks who respec a couple of times a week to
switch between PvE and PvP.
