Hi,

I've got a Skellymancer going, and a Fire Sorc going toward max
fireball and meteor, and orb for second skill.

I take these to be pretty much cookie cutters, pretty powerful, pretty
easy to play. What would you say are cookie cutter builds for
Assassin, Amazon, and Pally?

I'm just starting out, so I have no special gear. I'm looking to get
the maximum for the minimum to get myself rolling.

I figure my necro will get me to hell fast, and the sorc should be
able to start running NM meph soon enough to milk him for gear.

Other than maximum playing time, what else might you do to help
yourself if you were starting from scratch?

Thanks
j

<random snippage>

Sin can't really say as I don't play them. Zon lightning fury or Multishoot.
Pally any hammerdin, smiter and frostzealot.

Find a 4os armor and a 3os helm socket them with Perf Topazs and farm cows.
If you need socketables take off the mf and farm cows. Every ladder I start
with a Lightning Fury zon and go nuts. In short time I get a ton of
socketables, gems and runes and trade from there. Using any javas that self
replenish you can get plenty of whatever you need in a fairly decent time
frame to get yourself started. GL!

Actually, a regular fana zealot is more "cookie cutter" than a Frostzealot,
and smiters are really only cookie cutter in PvP and uber hunting, in
regular PvM play they are fairly rare.

Pick a nit there shiflet 8D I see more smiters and frosties lately than
other builds mostly due to the ubers. But I play a lot of pubbies too so my
experience is different from the usual agders.

I only play pubbies these days, all my friends have pretty much given up on
D2 completely. Smiters I never see in any regular PvM play, though yes, they
are common for uber killing. Frosters, well, I still see far more fana
zealots.
