Solarian growth rate - I would like to know if the city reduce the Solarian growth rate (like they do for all other races). I have seen up to a few 100 cities on a solarian HW, and they were growing fast. I also read a Solarian guide that hint they may be immune to the bad..

I have the impression that either the client computes a too low income
from the complex tax rate setting or the formula given in the wiki is
wrong.

Sometimes you have to change the tax rate then close the client and
reopen it to see the results (mainly on the HQ Tech screen). For
bases, you just need to refresh by moving to another screen then go
back.

There's still a discepancy between the amount the formula gives (quite
a bit more) and the amount the client forecasts. I'll see next turn
which side is going to win that contest.

It's looks like a client bug. With complex tax rate set the client
forecasts an income that's too low.

Another quickshot of mine. I'm getting old it seems.

The client correctly computes the amount of mc collected at the base
with the complex tax rate set. I misinterpreted that. The missing 30
percent go directly to the galactic bank. Therefore there's no client
bug.

I work with the formula from the wiki:

"If the tax setting is Complex, then the formula is different:

Total Income = (Colonists * (Happiness / 100) - 0.5)) * ((Race
Money Modifier + 100) / 200) / 1000 * .55
Sent to base = Total Income * 7 / 10
Sent to bank = Total Income * 3 / 10"


A player's population transfers (pods) and natural population growth
from one turn to the next are the two other important reasons why the
client's forecasted income won't be matched exactly by next turn's
result.
