Open one of them, and use 'import book' in the edit/opening book menu.
In CB8/9 you can use copy & paste.

Thanks very much for your help! I spent a couple hours today with CB8,
but copy and paste didn't work when trying to add one .ctg file into
another .ctg file, and I couldn't find 'import book' anywhere in the
edit menu. Any suggestions?

I can't seem to drop the icon of a .ctg file on another .ctg file for
some reason.

If I try to copy a .ctg file, paste doesn't work either for some
reason.

Anyway, thanks very much for your help!

You're right. Nothing works in CB8. I've been using CB9 for too long it
seems. Only now I remember that I was displeased because of this when
using 8.
The 'import book' I reffered to, exist only in the socalled Fritz GUI
that comes with the different engines from Chessbase.
