I received my copy of Colour Mash today and it suffered the exact same fate
as others here. The box was severely damaged. The idea of the refund to
me seems weird, because what should really happen is new replacement boxes
should be sent out (perhaps flat packed between two pieces of double walled
card board so that we can assemble them ourselves). I agree that the boxes
are a big part of the game, otherwise they would be Mark Shaker cases.

5 Euros is, however, probably the best anyone is going to get. I
accepted it.

Wasn't EE supposed to ship together with Colour Mash? I have an email from
Martijn dated March 12th where he stated that EE would ship with Colour Mash
and 'this was the only way i could do it because having the box printed
costs a *&*load (assload?) of money at small quantities, so i had to
combine the printing of colorclash and debris EE.'

I'm thankful that EE didn't ship with it .. but where is it? Is it going to
be an EME? (Elusively Mashed Edition?).

I thought the shipping procedure was supposed to have changed once the
problem was discovered?

Obviously I agree. I would even help out and pay for the shipping of a new
box. A 5 Euro refund is not relevant and if that represents the price of the
box then the product should have been cheaper.

I too thought the shipping method was to be changed after the packaging
errors were exposed.

It's time for Martijn to personally call a halt to all future shipments
until the method is changed. At this point any future shipments in the
unsupported, ill structured bubble pouch should qualify for a total refund.
The collectable box needs to be placed inside another substantial cardboard
or plastic box BEFORE being shipped out.

It's also time for John to be taken the mat and beat soundly about the
psyche for continuing to use an unsatisfactory shipping method.

Or if you take simple minded viewpoint of Lodewijk van Haringhal, perhaps we
should only pay small fee for the game (about 15 euros), and fee for
shipping.

I do not think that paying 10 euros is a fair price for an ill-suited
shipping box covered with a bubble pouch. A suitable shipping box will cost
no more than a couple of euros. That would be good enough to hold the
overlay, game, and instructions for those who do not want the collectable
box.

Chris
