Well, I played as the Goths...They are my favourite as they decimate
anything...and lucky for me, he chose the Britons...who have the
Archers...
The Goths have Huskarls who are not really affected by archer fire
because of their special armour...
And the Goths have special upgrades that lets you make Goths really
fast! Like 1 in 1 second...
So basically...We were at a standoff....he had his walls up and I had
mine..face to face...with towers and a large stand by army...
No one could breach the other's defences...
So I spotted a stream going off into his territory....I didnt know
where it goes cos of fog of war, but I took a transport ship and 1
villager and I sent it off....my villager landed inside his territory
and I built 2 quick barracks behind some trees. He hadn't explored
that territory as yet cos there were none of his buildings there...
I started producing the Huskarls at a fast pace (who also have a bonus
against buildings) and sent about an inital 30 off to his Town....with
more being produced side by side...
He just couldn't handle the assault inside his territory...as most of
his forces were a little away and I had already decimated his town to
ruins when he got there....
And did I mention? The Huskarls absolutely kill any army they
encounter

hehe...
The only bad thing about that civ is no stone walls...
