CnC Generals Strategy

Just bought CnC Generals and having great fun. But, I really need more
information about the strategy to playing this game. At the moment, I
just building anything and sending it off to battle. I feel certain
that there is more to the game than this. Can any one point me in the
direction of a guide that will help me understand how to play this game
properly?
