Archived from groups: alt>games>mame (more info?)

In my settings I have 3 rompaths:
E:/mame/roms
E:/mame/chd
C:/mame/chd overflow

I've never had this problem before, but the last few times I've
updated, the rebuilt roms are placed in the chd overflow folder
instead of in the roms folder. I don't think I've made any settings
changes. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

SFS

Rebuilt files are placed in the rebuilder destination folder or -if you
setup sysdefault-paths and enabled the rebuilder option to use
sysdefpaths for destination- in the belonging assigned sysdefpath.
That's the rebuilder...(or drag&drop of files in the scanner)

Scanner's fixmissing uses a different logic:
- if the set partially exist in a rompath, a found missing rom is added
to that set
- if the set was completely missing, the 1st rompath is used
- if optionally sysdefpaths should be used (scanadv option) and
correctly setup, found missing files are put there.

Ah... Thanks Roman. I checked and somehow I had changed my rebuilder
destination folder. All is well now.
