Is there a way to break the loop, or have I basically seen all of the
game once I've repeated the sequence a few times?

Regards,
Victor

There's a way. There's even a walkthrough:

inform/city/citywalk.txt>.

Thanks! Just _knowing_ that there was more to do than met the eye
allowed me to persevere long enough to find the lens. After that, I did
need the walkthrough, though, mainly because of some guess-the-word and
read-the-author's-mind problems.

I've put up a review on the IFDB.

Regards,
Victor
