Well, if daemon=bad, isn't the obvious answer a daemon hunters army?

Actually, I'm curious as to how far you'd take this. If I remember
Revelations correctly, Satan appears as a dragon somewhere in there.
Does that rule out Eldar, because they have Fire Dragons? What about
(if you were playing Warhammer) High Elves, with Dragon Princes and
even actual dragons (or would it have to have multiple heads to
count?). Before you answer, remember that High Elves are generally
considered about as close to 'good' as GW gets.

Mind you, we also have to eliminate as options:
Khorne (Wrath)
Slaanesh (Lust)
Nurgle (Sloth)
Tzeentch (Witchcraft)
The Imperium (Worshipping false gods - The Emperor & The Machine God)
Orks (False gods again - Gork & Mork)
Eldar (We already got them with Fire Dragons, throw on witchcraft as
well - warlocks)
Dark Eldar (Wychcraft - we've already established that you aren't too
picky about spelling)
Squats (I"m guessing you"re not too keen on ancestor worship)

There you go, twenty seconds thought and I've reduced your choices to
Tau, Nids & Necrons...
Necrons and Nids are artificial life forms, one created through
robotics and AI, the other through bio-engineering. Last I checked, the
average fundie considers both of these to be 'playing God' and
therefore evil, so they're both out.
Tau I really don't know much about (There is no 3rd Ed), so they seem
to be the only race I can't eliminate. Anyone want to do it for me?

My suggestions: Either accept that it"s just a game and get over it, or
go try historical wargaming instead. A crusader army would probably be
right up your alley.

Squats are the only good guys in W40K. Or at least the only not-so-evil
guys.

Depends on who did the creating, ofcourse. Do we have any info on that?

Necrons - the C'Tan took the race of the Necrontyr and turned them into
mindless automatons. As to the Nids, no idea, they seem to bioengineer
themselves.

they don't implicitely state that "For The Greater Good" means "Accept
Jesus or we shoot you." therefore we have to assume that they probably
aren't "Christian Enough" and are therefore "Heathens in Disguise".

Interesting point - if God created Man, does that make humans
artificial life forms?

40k fluff also suggests that the Orks, Kroot and Tau (and in older
incarnations of the background, Eldar and humans) were either directly
created by or 'uplifted'/enhanced by the Old Ones (Slann for older
readers). I think some of the newer Necron background may have revived
that idea for the Eldar at the very least.

Oooh, yeah. I'd love to see the Astartes' reaction when Unicron shows
up and eats Terra.

I'm going out on a limb and saying you're not *both* mispelling
'unicorn' and it's some transformer guy. Otherwise, that's a big ass
unicorn.

Unicron was "The Monster Planet" in Transformers: The Movie. He was
voiced by Orson Welles' (which, IIRC, was his final acting job).

Wasn't there a battle report in WD, possibly early in the Eye of
Terror campaign, where Typhus was vaped by an Imperial Guardsman with
a Lascannon and GW claimed he'd 'teleported out a split second before
he was hit'?

Then they went on to kill poor old Eldrad in a little bit of fluff at
the end of the campaign.

You will have to resolve some of the imagery with Warhammer and your
faith. There is a line between the imagination and reality. You have
to really understand where the Warhammer Mythology comes from. As a
previous poster mentioned they are not demons as we know it. Its not
possession as we know it. Its quite simply an alien take over.

For like minded disucssion I point you in this direction:
