Having earned two of the alternative outfits I find I can't actually select
one of the for Lara to run around in yet the manual suggests I can (PC

JJ- There are two ways to change outfits.

1. Go to the changing room in Lara's bedroom while playing the Croft Manor.
Note that this only works as long as you are in Croft Manor. It does not
carry over to actual game levels.

2. Once you have unlocked levels that you can replay you can choose a new
outfit before replaying a level.
