Ooh Ooh! I understand you are implying (with the aid of such American
bastard English) that I am a retarded chimp. But why would I apply for the
job to win second place when Walter Smith is going to take Rangers to 1st
place?

Well in my book, 'pedigree' infers stature and quality throughout history.
In fact heres an actual dictionary definition: "distinguished, excellent, or
pure ancestry."
SO regardless of wether they have played regularly in the mid-echelons of
european competition I still stand by my original statement.

I was actually implying that Terry Butcher was a retarded chimp, but you
went and took the bullet for him. And I only ever use Northern Irish
bastard English.

I think I'll reserve judgement until Rangers have played Celtic eight times,
or whatever it is this season.

Yeah, I can't wait to see how Nottingham Forest do this year.....

And you had the audacity to call me a pedant.

That's your choice, even if it completely ignores the emergence of several
decent European teams in recent years.

I thought the Stuttgart game could go either way, but the away win in Lyon
was a total surprise. It looks like you have won our wager in record
time, so any preference for payment method? Cash, cheque, PayPal?

Fair play to you, I thought you'd disappear.
But a bet is a bet, and you are a tenner down.
Make it payable to a charity of your choice, but lemme know where *my*
tenner has gone

Nah, I'm a gentleman and a man of my word. And it's not like I'd spend
hundreds of pounds just to escape to Canada to avoid a ten pound
bet.....no wait.....

I've been in Canada for the last four weeks, so I'm not really sure about
local charities. I'm guessing the local Humane Society would be the best
choice, but I'll let you know what I decide.
