They managed to get there! The Catalina arrived in Darwin and should be on
its way to Cairns.

Thank you for keeping us up to date on this seaplane. I did donate $20 so
time ago, but I couldn't find $5000 to ensure a few fights. Once in Asu I am
sure thrre will be cheaper opportunities for a flight. I have had many
flights in a Catalina when it was used as a geophysical survey aircraft.
But I have never been aboard for a water takeoff or landing.

It seems that our government has slapped import duties of $15,000 on the
project! That's mean!

Why don't they just hit the crew over the head, knock them out and steal
all their credit cards and cash... it would be more honest.
